United States Custom House documents from 1892 showing Elf's registered hull number (136276) and tonnage (7.83).

Elf and Beatrice taken by John S. Johnson between 1890 and 1900.  The photograph is dry emulsion on glass plate in Library of Congress, assessed in 1949 as a gift from State Historical Society of Colorado.  The yacht Beatrice was a sister ship built by Lawley in the same period as Elf.
