Elf and Beatrice taken by John S. Johnson between 1890 and 1900.  The photograph is dry emulsion on glass plate in Library of Congress, assessed in 1949 as a gift from State Historical Society of Colorado.  The yacht Beatrice was a sister ship built by Lawley in the same period as Elf.
